I had a car accident
I can't write much, but it's been quite a day. On the way to work my back tire blew out. As I tried to get over on the freeway it blew more, to the rim, where I totally lost control. I flew off the freeway into a very deep ditch, rolling sideways and end over end. As I left the freeway I thought I was going to die for sure. But I landed upside down, bloody and very sore, but amazingly OK- I unhooked my seat belt and tried to open my driver door but that would be impossible. Many people ran down the hill (only fit people, of course) and I smiled at them and said "I'm OK!"... I told them to tell the people on the road to stop honking... but it was me- my butt was on the horn! They were worried about fire as the car was leaking lots of oil and it was burning so I crawled out the broken window. People were very kind...The ambulance and fire truck were there quickly and I have been in the hospital all day getting lots of tests. I lost a lot of blood, my back is horribly sore, and I have some head trauma, but I'm alive and still FINE! My poor car is in very bad shape... but totally replaceable! I have been wanting a newer car anyway. And one more word of caution- I've been thinking that I needed to have my tires checked for about a week but was waiting until school is out next Friday because I've been so busy. Don't wait... make sure yours are sound.

OMG ! I'm glad you are well enough to be posting but please take it easy. I think I'd be too shaken by it all.
Take it easy.
Glad you are ok.

OMG how awful! You must have been terrified! So thankful you don't have any major injuries. At this point in my weight loss, I doubt that I would fit through the window to escape. Another very good reason to get the weight off. If I ever need to be rescued, it won't be such a task for those who are doing the rescue.
Hugs and wishing you a very quick recovery
